Decorating Use Tuscan Color Palette

Aug 11th

Tuscan color palette – Ancient ruins, golden sun and lush vineyards are inspired Tuscan style. The warm, organic colors derived from Mother Nature’s palette and simplicity bring nature inside the home. Choose a palette of three earthy colors to work with, as these colors are characteristic of the Tuscan style. Paint the walls with color or, for an authentic Tuscan feel, add depth and texture with colored Venetian plaster. Add warmth to your room and create interest in the eye by adding a faux finish to your base color.

Choose a Tuscan color palette for your curtains based on the wall color. Choose hardwood floors or natural tile to wear the rustic theme. The colors on the floor should reflect what comes naturally: colors of stone, old wood and marble tiles. Wide, light wood plank flooring gives a nice contrast to deep cocoa on the walls. Antique rugs, which include the three main colors in the room, add rustic style and charm.

Add a pop of natural Tuscan color palette by selecting accessories such as a vase of bright sunflowers or green, green plant. Bring bright colors in a soft yellow kitchen by showing patterned pottery jugs and dishes, or show copper pots on open shelves or hanging from a pot rack. Wrought iron accessories also can carry through the country feel of an Italian farm.
